Spring/Summer 2017 Classes
Weekly mindfulness meditation classes are open to people of all abilities and health conditions. For convenient access, Surja Tjahaja leads classes in four different community centers in the Portland metro area on Tuesdays through Thursdays. No prior is experience necessary.
All classes offer simple instructions, a period of guided meditation using comfortable postures, and discussion periods. Attention to individual needs is offered when requested. In a nutshell theses classes offer you opportunities to:
Newcomers are always welcome. Check the schedule below for the class that best suits your week. Students are always welcome to Monday or Tuesday classes on a drop-in basis as a way of taking a special time out for calmly dealing with the stresses of daily life.
